I used this to remove the primary (drive) clutch from my 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. I smeared a drop of lube on the end of the puller (more like a long screw) and some WD-40 on the threads and hand tightened. Once it was tightened with my fingers, I used my punch (although the instructions say only by hand!) to tighten further until the clutch popped out. Quality tool (not overgrown, carving is fine, didn't even look used when I was done). Please note that only one puller is supplied (as stated in the product description). Also check the EPI website to make sure this puller fits your machine.
