First let me say that these shoes fit my son perfectly. He loves her. They are comfortable and light. But these shoelaces are like Houdini — no matter how you tie them and untie them, they don't stay. Also, my son hates shoelaces so we removed the laces. The shoes have laces, so the laces are only there to tighten them. They work great without laces and look great. I understand we could just swap out the laces for others, but that was actually the best option for us.
