Supplied in a plain box. Well packed. The shipping label is applied directly to the product packaging, so there is no indication of what is inside. On the one hand, this means when someone sees the box before it is packed or is given it as a gift. You won't know what's inside until you open it. On the other hand it means you have a large label that needs to be removed or sealed (in case you are giving this in exchange and don't want your address to be known). I opened the box not knowing what not Inside is the official packaging of the product. When I opened it, the wooden cutting board was sealed with shrink wrap. Where the handles extend to hold the pot, carved pieces of wood were visible in these channels. Since I gave it away, I removed the shrink wrap and shook out the scraps of wood. No big deal, just a note for those who donate. It comes with SMALL instructions that were under several layers of packaging material. Since it was a gift, I brought it upstairs so the person who opens it knows it's a gift right from the start. Looks very well made, packaged very well. If it were about me personally, I wouldn't even bother with these things. Just a few notes for those thinking of gifting this item.
