When turned on it burst and immediately smelled like electric fire. It fried my processor and motherboard. It was the existing system. We have replaced our existing non-modular power supply with this new modular power supply. The EPS cable wires may not have been properly installed at the factory, but the cable smells where it blew out my gear. Really disappointed. I've heard a lot of good things about Silverstone power supplies but this was literally the worst I've ever used, although I only used it for a second before it grilled my system. I've been building PCs for 30 years.
