I was trying to get some decent lights for my new Christmas tree but I wasn't happy with the LEDs I bought. I've bought other types of garlands in the past, so giving up the traditional Christmas lights wasn't too crazy an idea. It turned out great. I put three of these on my thin tree and it covered well. I could always change the colors and movements as I wanted. It was a little tricky at first as one remote can control all three circuits, but they have a memory feature - so if you set what you want and then unplug and plug back in, it's back to where it was. The only thing I could wish for is speed control and maybe the ability to dim the lights. Plus they were perfect - and a lot cheaper than traditional lights!
