This is the ideal solution for splitting the Toslink optical digital audio output of a TV so that it can simultaneously feed the Toslink input of a receiver or soundbar and wireless headphones using a Toslink input base unit. Keep in mind that this is a passive device and will reduce the amount of light each device receives. So there is a chance that one or more of your devices might not like it. I used it in an installation where one of the existing Toslink cables in the wall had failed and plugging in this splitter meant the signal was no longer sufficient for the Sony wireless headphones on the other end. I had to run a new Toslink cable through the wall and then everything was fine. So be aware that some devices may be more demanding than others when it comes to light requirements, and inserting a splitter in the signal path can be challenging. Problem.
