Quality glasses are made of very thin glass. The density and quality of the glass itself should make it strong, not its thickness. Any precious drink is much more pleasant in thin-walled glasses, including whiskey. with those thick walls and edges. They are heavy and prevent any intimate contact with my most prized beverages such as wine and liqueurs. I am extremely disappointed. They had an interesting design so I bought them. However, I threw these glasses away after the first try and bought Riedel glasses instead: simple design and wafer-thin rims, as you would expect.
