I love this little gem!

Ok this is my FIRST DVR. Wow, what a brilliant concept. I've watched them on TV for the last few years and NOW I understand the benefits of this luxury. First, the image quality is impressive for the price of the X350. Very impressive when viewed on a TV or laptop. The IMO system is very well designed, I love the download options to remove videos from the camera. What I love about this concept is that you can never grab the camera and shoot a video if something happens while driving, everything happens way too fast. not just car accidents, but other events as well. Sometimes it's just a moment of beauty, like driving down the road with fall leaves that are nice to hold. I also like the security benefits, I always have a record of what happened. The Revain webpage and site does an excellent job of explaining the features and benefits so I won't repeat it. As for complaints. I agree with others, some will require a better mounting system, but not all. Therefore, it is possible to purchase a more versatile accessory. But it comes at an additional cost and I understand why the manufacturer didn't want to include it in the base unit as others would overpay for a component they don't need. I got mine working with the mounting kit but it took a bit of planning. 64 gigabytes is about 1.5 hours of HD recording. I would have preferred 128 gigabytes, but again this is another limitation that's somewhat common with cameras. Even my $500 Sony pocket camera is max. So asking more would push the boundaries for a consumer product like this and raise the price disproportionately to the benefit. As technology advances, we're sure to see 250GB cards for the same price. For now, just be vigilant and download quickly before you lose something, or carry an extra flash drive with you and retrieve the content later. It's a very workable system. Given the price, I don't think it's fair to put an end to these two questions. I feel the product offers tremendous value as is. and like all these electronic devices, they often require a bit of tweaking and common sense to make them work the way you want them to. I will be a DVR user for my whole life. I don't know how I lived without her.
