Yes it gets 5 stars. I'm glad that instead of a fantastic fan, I have maximum air. My friend had an awesome fan and from what I could see it used more power and was noisier. .But the biggest advantage of max air is the integrated rain cover. The rain cover rises and falls with the cover, giving you a lot less profile, so to speak. In this case having a lower profile was very important as the rain covers block the light trying to reach my solar panels. This Max Air design allows you to run the fan with a semi-enclosed device. Now you might not want to operate your rig half open because of the pressure on the top. As you can see I also bought one that is more manual and doesn't use a remote control. I found out late that there's no reason to buy it without a remote as you can still control it manually. I added an up-down engine switch to turn off the engine. So it goes up and down when I want it, not up and down when I don't want it. - nothing to offer, it's either open or not half closed. Manually you can still put it in any position by placing a switch in it, this only happens automatically when the switch is on. In my setup, it was beneficial to keep it in the same position and not have it open and close from the remote
