Works better than I thought it would. For 4a and below it works like magic. Anything above 4a needs to be done in smaller chunks. It's very light, the material is slippery when wet or working with hair products, but the shape and size make it easy to hold in your hands. The space where the two pieces come together gets clogged with hair when in use. Not the biggest problem but it would be better if it was a one piece piece of material on the side of the brush as it is less slippery. The bristles are a little brittle and start to bend after a few uses but still work well. I didn't expect it to last too long with heavy use or thick hair.
