Review on Taros Origami Studio Premium Japanese by Tara Ford

Revainrating 2 out of 5

High price for low quality

It's too expensive for what you get. The ink is not well fixed and can dirty your hands and work surface. I needed it badly so I bit the bullet and bought it. However, if you are looking for quality paper, origami-shop.com has what you need. This paper is ideal for folding. I would use it more as practice paper for more complex models, but for 30 sheets of this material it's not really worth more than $20. You can find cheaper, higher quality paper elsewhere, but the downsides are you may have to wait longer and pay more for shipping (although it's still cheaper in the end).

Pros
  • TARO'S ORIGAMI STUDIO Paper is designed and tested by our staff based on countless hours of learning and folding. Made in Japan, this authentic paper uses the highest quality non-toxic ink and is machine cut for maximum precision. This is simply the highest quality standard origami paper available.
Cons
  • No performance
