non-square paper

Well, as many of you probably know, paper needs to be perfectly square to make quality origami. These leaves are a good size but not square. They are offset slightly, just enough that your creases are bad and not big enough to be easily trimmed to fix them. Damn

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Interchangeability

Specialized large format origami paper.

My son is into origami and his needs have become even more specific in terms of origami paper, thickness and size. This paper wasn't cheap, but there were very few large-format options. With this he was able to create some large origami figures and let his creativity run free. This was enough to assemble and create some specific designs.

Great Paper!: Paper and Crafts

Pros: Paper folds easily and is fun to work with. The size helps a lot when folding more complex pieces, like Kade Chan's origami griffin or Tadashi Mori's dark dragon. The colors are vibrant and the variety allows for many different realistic details. Cons: The paint stains fingers a bit and rips easier than I'd like (but it's still pretty durable). like more variety and cons for those who want more of a specific color) Overall I would recommend buying folders for all levels.

  • Easy to Install

  • Unbelievable Price

High price for low quality

It's too expensive for what you get. The ink is not well fixed and can dirty your hands and work surface. I needed it badly so I bit the bullet and bought it. However, if you are looking for quality paper, origami-shop.com has what you need. This paper is ideal for folding. I would use it more as practice paper for more complex models, but for 30 sheets of this material it's not really worth more than $20. You can find cheaper, higher quality paper elsewhere, but the downsides are you may have…

Very good size, wrinkles are visible.

I really like the size of this paper - I had to make a very large elephant for a kids party I was having. I'm not new to origami folding, I've been doing animal origami for about a year now. Although I am new to elephant stacking. My previous elephants folded on 6 x 6 paper turned out very well. I found that my elephant folded from this paper had many wrinkles. I didn't have any tears on the paper, and folding elephants have many different folds - they've held up well. The end result was…

Surprisingly large (usually hard to find) kami

I buy this paper regularly when available. Although I have mixed feelings about it. It folds well and holds the crease well, but feels lighter than what I'm used to from solid color kami. Also, the seller always seems to have smaller packages available, but this size is not usually available. green on the other for example). Finding one of this size has become extremely rare. This is a good alternative, but such a kami is even rarer. So if you get caught in a search, this product is your best…
