REALLY BAD SWR ON 2m & 1.25m

I'm a first class operator and have the right equipment to measure these antennas both on suitable ground and in high temperatures. Below are the test results of the Radioddity RD-301 144/222/440 tri-band antenna versus the Diamond SRJ773A 144/440 reference antenna. Both antennas were under the same conditions during the test. For example. Same ground plane, coax cables, test equipment, location to objects, etc. The results are as follows: Antenna Radiooddity RD-301 Triband 144/222/440Fq. SWR144 7.1146 8.2148 9+223 9+430 1.5440 1.5450 1.5 Antenna Diamond SRJ773A 144/440Fq. SWR144 1.9146 1.5148 1.4223 3.8430 1.4440 1.3450 1.3*** UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES TRANSMIT ON THE 2M OR 1.25M BAND The RD-301 will destroy you radio in no time. The SWR is extremely high. Advertising for this antenna for 2m or 1.25m transmission is WRONG ADVERTISING! The SWR should be less than 1.5:1 to get the best performance even before field strength tests. I didn't want to burn my radios, so I didn't even field test them. I will send it back for a refund. Buyer Warning! Check your antenna, or have someone with the proper equipment check it, before you start transmitting. Beware of YOUTUBE videos showing a guy testing these antennas and getting good SWR results. Check them out for yourself. I mostly buy them to test and evaluate. On a RARE occasion, I stumble across a good one and grab it. But advice. Buy an antenna made in Japan. The Chinese are mostly trash, with rare exceptions.
