I bought this bowl as a waterer and bath for my kennel but didn't even bother to remove it from the open plastic before starting to take return. The bowl is lighter and looks cheaper than similar bowls in the same price range that I have used for my birds in the past. The painted accents on the outside of the bowl are very poorly done and look completely unnatural, so there's no point in simulating the surface of the stone, and the interior paint looks like it's going to wear off quickly. I don't risk color chips in my bird's water. I think clawed reptiles may be endangered even earlier.
