I won't lie, I bought the MoKo case because it was cheap. I had the Apple Smart Cover on an earlier model of iPad, and to be honest, it annoyed me more than helped - when I put it on the stand, it detached from the iPad. Ugh, it's hard to do business with a company that values form over utility. So I took the MoCo case. And as it turns out, MoKo does a lot better than Apple. In the MoKo design, the iPad is housed in a clear, soft plastic case that has a front cover that works just like the Apple Smart Cover. Because it's a single piece that wraps around the iPad, nothing comes loose when the front cover turns into a stand. Even better, the entire iPad is protected - back and side. There are cutouts for the rear camera, buttons, jack, speaker and cable jack. I've dropped an iPad onto a tile floor a few times with no damage. The case is easy to remove - and I do this when playing games that use tilt controls. But my favorite part of the case, I can flip down the lid on the back and use it to hold the iPad while reading - much like the new Kindle reader has a one-handed reading protrusion. MoKo Case - Buy it for the price but enjoy it because it really is better than the Apple Smart Cover
