This kettle is ideal for offices. The only thing I would like would be a longer cable. However, the stainless steel is absolutely beautiful, but out of the box it was a bit difficult to remove the blue protection. Once it's dismantled, washed and plugged in, it's ready to go. You simply add water and close the lid (which opens and closes by pushing the lever down) and press the switch on the handle to turn it on. Once it turns on, a bright blue light will appear at the bottom of the kettle. Once the blue goes out, it's done. Now this kettle boils water FAST and very hot. If you're using regular tap water, I recommend scrubbing the floor as minerals will build up and leave an ugly, muddy look. Fortunately, the wide opening makes cleaning the floor 10 times easier. Overall it's pretty easy to use and install as the mat even has a notch for the cord to ensure there is no fuss during installation. I love how practical and convenient it is for any office.
