PikachoOOO!

health. Overall, I'm very impressed with the 3DS XL. I compared it to the regular 3DS and preferred the larger screen. It really is like 3DS games were designed for an XL screen. I particularly like the 3D function and how the depth level is adjusted. And if you don't like the 3D function at all, you can switch it off completely. The sensitivity of the touchscreen has definitely improved, so I'd recommend this upgrade to anyone still holding on to their old DS or DS Lite. However, it makes sense to keep your old DS as everyone knows that all your favorite GBA games won't work on the 3DS. Which stops me from giving this shiny new platform a brilliant 5 stars, is the volume control. It's on the top left side of the touch screen. So when I hold it, it always feels like my left index finger is always bumping into it. So sometimes when I'm on the train with my headphones plugged in, I suddenly freak out when I accidentally turn up the volume. It makes my daily commute interesting, especially when everyone around me thinks I'm having a seizure. But somehow I don't think Nintendo changed the volume control to scare off its customers. These are all general points and personal complaints, but for me the selling point here is Pikachu. I don't care how childish it looks with an adult carrying it around, but I couldn't NOT get it. So when I was about to get an update, I jumped in the water as soon as I saw this issue. It's totally worth it in my opinion. If you're not a Pikachu/Pokemon enthusiast like me and want to save some cash on your upgrade, just get the regular 3DS XL. Good game guys.
