I have both a stationary Foredom tool and a battery powered Milwaukee rotary tool that I use all the time. I bought them to have extra drums on hand. This is the first product from this manufacturer but I have worked with other brands over the years. This product is terrible. They fall apart quickly unlike other brands I've used. Here are a few photos from two different projects. The one installed shows the drum barely used and the beginning of drum wear after my first touch of the soft and smooth fiberglass object. The second photo of worn drums was taken while attempting to remove minor rust from a quarter sized patch of Fe metal. There were two other drums that I couldn't find as they were completely separate from several. Always wear safety glasses when using any rotary tool, especially when purchasing/using this item. It's a good thing there are a lot of these because they spoil faster than any similar product I've ever used. In addition to safety considerations, the project completion time must take into account the time (frustration) of many drum changes.
