They are best used on a flat grill.
I bought these for my flat top grill. (What they are actually intended for) They work very well. I hesitated to buy them after reading the reviews. I decided that I would try them myself. Most of the reviews are from people using them on BBQ grills. I'm sure they're great for this purpose, but if you're looking for something for a flat top grill. It will be a good buy. They cleaned my grill very well!
