This skin tone set contains a wide range of colors that make it easy to create both light and dark skin tones. However, my set arrived with two damaged capsules. I have included photos to show how they came right out of the box. Other people seem to have had a similar problem. The box it arrived in was not damaged in the mail or abused. So I'm not sure what is causing this problem. Maybe some colors are more prone to breakage, or it could be a bad batch. It's also possible that this is an issue with the way they are packaged direct from the manufacturer. Finally, I recommend using pastels as they are a really quick and easy way to capture skin tones.
