Scrape any website using Selenium and Python
It is very simple, easy-to-use software for scraping data from websites with JavaScript support. The developer has added many useful features like saving screenshots of page elements in CSV format or exporting scraped content into HTML files (or PDF). Also it's possible to add custom CSS classes which makes your work easier when you need them later. I think that this program should have more options - e.g., save results as JSON file instead of only csv/html etc. You can use it for extracting information about products offered by different companies online. This way we are able to create our own database where all info will be stored.
Pros
- I like best that you can get content in HTML or JSON so you need to do less work to export the data into other formats for further use
Cons
- The interface is fine, but it took quite a while to get to know all the functions and there is not much to click anymore
