SD cards have become a commodity and many vendors offer products that meet standard compatibility and speed specifications, so I knew I had to buy this card depending on what it was would rate it 5 stars or 1 star if I had any issues with it. Other things being equal, I usually prefer to buy well-known brands like SanDisk, Lexar, Kingston, Sony, Samsung, PNY or Transcend. The Centon card is cheaper than all these other brands. I would have checked the user reviews here for reliability complaints before purchasing this card, but my experience has been great. (If this changes, I'll update my review. It's important to note that many of the early reviews of this card include users unfamiliar with the two different SD card standards: SDHC and SDXC. Almost all SD cards come with 32GB and below are SDHC cards and all SD cards over 32GB are SDXC.SDXC was only released in 2009, so any devices released before 2009 do not support SDXC cards, the format required to support capacities over 32GB My old Canon PowerShot The ELPH 310 HS from 2011 supports SDCX so this card works great in this camera.
