I've been using the CLDAY USB-C multiport adapter for about 2 weeks with constant Success. Due to the way my workspace is set up, there are multiple devices attached to my laptop that only have USB-C ports. My Mac is picky and doesn't recognize peripherals connected to third-party products, but it loves it! I've bought other adapters or USB-C connectors in the past and they only worked for about a week. The computer does not recognize the device at all. I had instant and lasting success with the CLDAY port! The multiport is easy to use and features an approximately 4-inch cable to leave room to connect to your desktop. It snaps securely into the Mac with a single click, a feature some shorting adapters don't have. The cable itself is flexible but has some strength - I find this quality important as cables that are too weak will bend excessively and short out. This connector provides some distance between the actual laptop and the document, but also has a heavy jacket over the wiring to protect it from bending and shorting, which is common with regularly used electronic cables. The adapter is also very slim and comes with a corduroy drawstring pouch - I like to carry this protector when I travel. I can put it in my purse along with my mouse or my laptop bag. This is the only adapter I need when traveling as it has another USB-C, HDMI and USB port - it covers all my needs in one miniature adapter. The real bonus is that it has an HDMI port, so I can also easily hook it up to my TV at home when I need to watch a show or work on the big screen. When I'm working with my more demanding workstation, it adds versatility and connectivity, allowing me to power multiple displays and Bluetooth devices that require USB dongles. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I can't comment on the durability of this adapter yet, but I can come back to that later. It works well for me and I would highly recommend anyone who uses multiple assistive devices to try this dock. I have provided a real amateur video for those who want to take a closer look.
