Anyone who owns certain Roland music gear (like me with the Roland Juno Alpha 1 that this is intended for) knows that there is a very odd, non-standard two-pronged connector plug that which MUST be the right shape (rectangular) and size or you'll never be able to turn on your vintage synthesizer. These types of cables are hard to find and often just don't fit right. However, this model is ideal. You have to squeeze him hard to get him, but that's spot on. It's strong, not too flexible, but it's pliable, heavy and yes. even has two pins (not 3rd ground) at the output. I think it's just as good as a factory replacement. I'm glad Hosa has this strange cable in good quality and at a very reasonable price.
