This laptop stand is super lightweight, easy to install and remove and has its own felt carrying case. I often use it on my coffee table, sitting on the couch and typing directly on the laptop keyboard, which is now raised to the perfect height. There are small movements when typing, but they are not disturbing. The product is designed to be portable, so it cannot be fully rigid. The mechanism for adjusting the height and angle offers many possibilities. The legs fit snugly in rubberized grooves, meaning there are no tension knobs to ever wear out. The large laptop stand easily holds my 15 inch laptop while leaving room for storage. When you lay the bottom adjustment flat, the top angle adjusts to about 65 degrees (a visual estimate), allowing you to place the tablet on the platform for media viewing or video conferencing. However, the tabs for holding the devices are 8.5 inches wide, requiring you to either use the device in portrait mode or use a ruler/ruler as a shelf. All in all a great product for the price.
