I'm about 36.5" chest and 31" waist and the large fits me perfectly. I was looking for a snug fit, but not too tight, and the large fits in that lovely spot. I have no idea where Revain or even the manufacturer gets their sizes from because they don't match at all (originally I ordered 2X because of all the 'too small' comments and it ended up being too big!) so I hope this is the case is helpful for people who are wondering what size to take. The shirt is very see through but I still wanted to wear a t-shirt underneath. Very good cut and sleeve length. You can order more colors :)
