I specifically chose golf shoes for their waterproofness. I don't like it when dew gets wet on my feet in the morning. They're waterproof, but my socks get wet every time. Why? Because they make your feet sweat like crazy, and I'm not the type to sweat a lot. In fact, under normal conditions, my feet never sweat. Whatever they use to impregnate, they don't breathe at all. There's no point in them being waterproof if they're going to get your feet wet anyway. Otherwise I like them, but this is a deal breaker.
