Review on Dow Corning Molykote 44 Medium Grease 🔧 Lubricant 5.3oz 150g Tube: Highly Effective Lubrication Solution! by Brian Kumar

I bought this to oil old sewing machines. A lot of them made since 1960 have nylon or plastic gears and I wanted something safe. I'm not a chemist so I have no way of knowing how things will be in 50 years, but I trust a product that says it's been tested on a specific plastic. I also use it for metal gears. I can say that this is a top notch lubricant that will not slow down the sewing machine even when applied to normally oiled sliding parts like the needle bar. It stays on well, doesn't smear, doesn't rub off heavily, and doesn't leave stains. Says it doesn't dry out. I have no way of confirming this, but there is no evidence of any component evaporating.
