I am very pleased with my purchase. The size fit perfect and the workmanship seems excellent. I've worn them now for a few weeks to break them in. Honestly, haven't worn a boot like this before though I have worn cowboy boots, but it's been a while. These boots however are comfortable for their style. So far have had no need to insert liners and the zipper on the side makes them easy on and off. They do fit snug around the ankle unlike cowboy boots but that may have to do with the zipper. I wear a 10.5 and if I had went with 11 they would have been to large and I'm not sure if that would change the way the zipper fits around my ankle. All in all I am well pleased and would recommend. I would say they are true to size.
