I needed to replace my old landline but didn't want to spend a lot of money because I really just need a landline so I can call this number instead of my mobile - and I wanted an answering machine for my landline. This phone is great. I was able to set it up and use it within minutes out of the box. The quality is great, the features are great, it's very easy to set up. There are many great features, some of which I programmed right away. Sound quality and range are excellent. The answering machine is much simpler than my old landline phone. I would recommend it to anyone who likes having a land line and an answering machine - for those callers you really don't want them to be able to reach you on a mobile.
