Review on Caran d'Ache Grafwood: Premium 15 Piece Round Tube Set for Exceptional Drawing by Hannah Curi

I'm not a professional artist but art is in my blood and I know the difference in quality. I've bought a Faber Castell Gold Faber, a regular Staedtler Mars Lumograph (blue) and recently a Derwent Graphic hoping they would be my best artist pencils. But derwent is far behind other brands. Then I tried this one and now I can confirm the claims that it's better than other brands, it's not the price, the price never influences my opinion about things, it's really high quality! Next to the Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black, this is now my new favorite graphite pencil. But I only gave it 4 stars because I think the paint finish and aesthetic design is terrible, the Staedtler pencils look way better and the painting is so much better! I highly recommend you buy it from Blick instead. The first set came with a damaged case, I ordered a replacement and it came with an open case, the pins are rolling out and the leads are broken. Terrible product handling! I reported it again but didn't get a solution. In my opinion, Blick cares more about its customers and products.
