Review on ๐ŸŒ€ NZXT Kraken X62 280mm - CAM-Powered AIO Liquid Cooler with Infinity Mirror Design and Aer P140mm Radiator Fans by Bach แ Œ

Think twice before you buy-the product is disgusting.

I took this LSS for Ryzen 9 3900x. During the installation, it turned out that the AM4 mount was done terribly. The pump is held on the motherboard by two antennae and one bolt, the fasteners bent when tightened. The clamp was very bad (see the second photo), I had to put washers under the fasteners to increase the contact area. After starting the system, I was shocked - a rattle was heard from the pump at minimum speed, at first I thought it was due to air and everything would pass soon, but after two days of work nothing had changed. I handed over the pump back to the store, they recognized the PUMP as DEFECTIVE, after 20 days I received a replacement from the manufacturer, or more precisely, a sealed box with a newer revision of the LSS. After opening, I was pleasantly surprised by the new fasteners for AM4 - 4 bolts to the motherboard (see the third photo), now there are no problems with clamping. After starting the pump, it turned out that RGB did not work on it, and the pump rustled, but not as much as the first one. I ated the pump firmware, tested it on different systems, installed different versions of CAM, tried different USB cables - nothing helped, the backlight does not work, ANOTHER MARRIAGE. I already wanted to put up with it and use it without backlighting, but the pump really pisses me off with its "extraneous sounds", this is the noisiest component in my computer, I can clearly hear it 1 meter from the computer. Iโ€™m going to rent the store again, but Iโ€™ll buy myself an LSS from another company, itโ€™s scary to put such a thing on a PC worth more than 100,000. I'm already silent about very noisy coolers (although it would seem 140mm) and problematic software. In the last photo, the system unit is assembled, but the pump is upside down, because RGB does not work and I just set it as it was more convenient. Just in case, Iโ€™ll write that the noise from the pump does not change in any way when changing orientation.

Remove the stock thermal paste immediately. In my case, it was already dry.

It has been working for more than a year, it does not leak, there are no complaints, there are no extra noises

With its pros. Simply beautiful and copes with my process (9600k in overclocking) Different cons: There is no compatibility with asus aura, this is the only device in my system without this support, but this is nitpicking, it will deliver to aesthetes .

Different pros: Ease of installation and cooling efficiency. Almost silent. With its cons. Not every motherboard is suitable, the installed memory may interfere.

Got pros: Quiet water. In silence mode, nothing is heard at all. Got cons: Haven't found it yet.
