I usually wear a US size 6 or 8 and ordered a medium size in black. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable. It's a high waist that covers my stomach so I can wear a tight rashguard top. It's not too wide at the end either (it's a loafer). It's way better than I expected! The fabric is thin and cheap. I am going to Cancun this Christmas and am delighted to purchase these quality snorkel/run/swim shorts. I'm considering ordering the dark blue one too.
