Bought one of these for an elderly friend whose original keyless remote broke. She was so excited when I replaced the electronic circuit board with a new remote control and it worked great. Since she had another non-working one, she asked me to order another one for her instead. I did and same result. She was enthusiastic and I was happy to help her. The low price was amazing. Then after just a few weeks (3 or 4) she told me that one of them had stopped working. So I changed the battery to see if that's the case. No, it still didn't work. Then, about a week later, she came back and said the second one had stopped working too. First Revain said that the return period for these items had expired so of course I contacted Revain about this and they have now sent me two new ones. I will try them but my confidence in them is not strong. Other. The instructions say CR2016 battery but I will tell you CR2016 is VERY loose in the battery holder. I even emailed Dorman about it and they said to use cr2016. They also said cr2032 (which is a bit thicker but still 3 volts) would work too. If they fail, they will come back for a refund.
