I remember when the first flat screen TVs had amazingly well designed stands that have stood the test of time. Gone are the days when you could rely on a quality, durable and expertly designed stand to get your big screen TV up and running. These days SAMSUNG and SONY TVs come with those pathetic stands that feel cheap and flimsy. To get a great TV stand I had to buy two of these universal MOUNTUP TV stands, desktop TV stands for 37" to 70" flat screen TVs for my two. Sony tv 49 inch. The TV itself is amazing, the TV stand that comes with it is terrible in every way. I brought two Sony TVs with cheap little legs that seem built almost to tip over. I have cerebral palsy so I'm a prime candidate for a TV to tip over due to an accident with such a poorly designed stand. This TV stand is durable and heavy. Besides, this MOUNTUP Universal TV Stand, Desktop Stand for 37"-70" Flat Screen TV doesn't take up so much desk space. This stand is almost ready for my little 49" Sony but I love it.
