I react to a lot of jewelry, particularly nickel in silver, but I have reacted to nickel free pieces in the past so I am always cautious when buying from Revain. Other than that I've been wearing them for over a month with no reaction and I love how elegant they look. They are the perfect size for your cartilage as you can see in my photo but they hurt when I sleep. They are also uncomfortable tucking their hair behind their ear as the back sticks out as you can see in my photo as well. But since it could just be the shape of my ears or the angle I was pierced, I just take them off every night before bed and just gently toss my hair around. It's ok and there's nothing to take a star off for. Also, I take them off before showering, but I do it with all my jewelry that isn't real. It's still winter for me but I have no plans to wear them to the pool or sea. They may not be real opals (but they still sparkle beautifully), and as the reverse has already faded from regular wear, be aware that this is not the type that you just stick in your ear and never see again can. . If you want them to last and still look good, don't let them get wet. They are cheap so take good care of them and they should stay shiny.
