Even after softening it with a hot hair dryer or whatever, affixing this cover onto the steering wheel may be a frustrating couple of minutes, but once it’s on, you’ll probably love it. It’s very thick & makes my suv feel like it has sports car handling now, lol. No slippage, and I wish the raised wavy part actually went all the way around the cover— I thought it might annoy me, but it turned out to be my favorite part of the pattern. The feel of it under the hand is just really satisfying. Any heat from the sun when my car’s been in the 100 degree parking lot for an hour doesn’t affect it really, as my bare steering wheel before got too hot to touch. The new cover seems to disperse it somehow, so it just ends up being slightly warm, and I’m able to easily grasp it & start driving my now very responsive-feeling "sports car” right away. : )
