These things are worse than trash. The first stopped supplying water after about 2 weeks. I used the second of two packs and after two weeks the filter started falling apart on the inside and I ended up with charcoal or charcoal in all my water lines. The charcoal got into my toilet's flush valve and destroyed it, causing the water to continue to flow when the flush pedal was released, causing the toilet to overflow and soak the bedroom carpet. Now I have to buy a base unit for my toilet for almost $70, not to mention all the work that goes into it. Happy Thanksgiving. :-(
