Very good cartridge. I basically wanted to try the new mounting system to see if it would be easier. Boy is it always a great sounding pickup! The ML stylus fits into the groove and truly reproduces the sound of your vinyl. The bass is deep, not muddy, and the mids and highs are very clear. And it sits deep enough in the groove that scratches on the surface are barely visible. The improved cartridge holder is great and makes it super easy to use. I've had AT cartridges for many years (I'm 68) and it seemed like it required 3 hands to install and was very inconvenient. This new mounting system is simple and only takes about a minute to install on the shell. Then all you have to do is align and set the VTF and you're good to go. The only point of criticism that is not enough to deduct a star is the low output of only 3.5 mV. If they bumped it up to 4.5-5.5mV that would sound awesome! And I know AT doesn't read these reviews, but if they do, I would suggest they apply the new mounting system to their top VM cartridges (VM 520, 530, 540, etc.). Cartridges are even better.
