I bought this radio based on positive reviews online. I thought it was great value for money and am satisfied. The radio tunes well, and I love that the NOAA weather channel is available in the third switch position. I would find it tedious to use the crank to charge the device, but it's nice to know that I have a backup option in case the battery dies. I charged it in the sun with no problem and the USB charger works the best, it only takes about 2 hours to charge from an outlet. It's lightweight, doesn't take up much space in your home bag, and a great deal.
