There are some products out there that don't get the attention it deserves. This is one of them. I have travelled extensively with this, and it has enhanced my trips with added mobility, saving time, plus what a it's a joy to ride. First, I usually hesitate buying things like bikes online. But it came well packaged, carefully thought out, and it is a sturdy rugged bike in itself. As you can see from the photo, it is on top of the mountain (approx 12,000 ft elevation). I used the bike to bring me up the rugged trail (the parts that could be ridden), and it cut my hiking by over half the time. It is very sturdy and riding over a rocky trail is a breeze. It is light enough to carry over boulders. I even took a tour on campus, and its easy to ride and maneuver through pedestrian areas. The portability is outstanding just a bit better than an electric scooter. If you prefer to sit rather than stand, get this one. However for longer trips, the leather seat felt uncomfortable.the handle bar and controls are well thought out, ergonomic, and simple enough to use. You can attach a smart phone to the handle bar and use an app connected to the bike via bluetooth. The app only enhances the experience guiding you on metrics of usage, speed, allows you to speed up even much faster. You can even "lock" the bike using the app. It is a perfect fusion of sport and technology. I was very happy with the bike without the app. But the app is like the sprinkles on the iced cake.I am writing about the pro version of the bike which has "pro" on the frame near the rear tire. There are two version of the bike so far. The pro version which sells for around 800 to $1000. It is worth the money. I would pay more for this one. There is another version that is the regular version and I cannot speak to that version. I think it does not have the usb charger, app compatibility is different or maybe none at all?, and one less shock absorber, I'm not sure.
