It totally exceeded my expectations! It was a spare chopper that I loved and had for 21 years. With vegetables, he makes onion cubes that are small and evenly sized. It took me a while at first to figure out the best way to lay the onion on the surface to dice it the way I want it, but once I figured it out it worked really well. I've even tried it on tomatoes and small potatoes and they effectively cut better than I could ever do with a quick squeeze. Even though I miss my vintage cube maker, this model is easy to use, easy to clean and even dishwasher safe. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner after my old chopper went to veggie heaven. I love this product. I highly recommend it.
