Waxy product - I use this on skin care products at home to make plain paper waterproof

I use this over laser printed paper labels for skin care products that I make and sell to try and make labels waterproof. At first I tried applying with a stiff brush but it was too thick. I found the best way is to use the tip of your finger. That was the only way it could be applied evenly. It's very quick and easy to use. This will smudge the top surface a bit, leaving a waxy layer. Applying it too thickly can prevent the text underneath from being clearly seen, so apply it very lightly. It dries up eventually but if you apply it too thickly, it can feel sticky or not dry. I leave mine outside. Note that mine are applied to plastic using acrylic gel so it may perform differently when applied to paper or when the underlying adhesive medium is not a plastic (acrylic) base. A little goes a long way, but it's in a tiny little container. I rate it 5 stars = I love it. If there were other products on the market I would buy them and try them but so far this is the only one I've found for painting or drawing on paper to make it waterproof which is useful for small applications such as a label product. maybe it behaves differently when applied to paper or when the underlying adhesive medium is not a plastic (acrylic) base.
