I love how many possibilities this cat bed/flat has. I have a young wild rabbit that has settled in our garden; and he comes to me to feed him from a plate every day. And he's all alone, with no other known rabbit friends. I began to feel very protective of him and worried about him if I didn't see him for more than two days due to known large predators in our area. So now I'm thinking about the coming winter and how our area had some heavy freezes and snows last year and all the heavy rains and flooding that our area had during Hurricane Harvey. I bought this versatile bed/house to fit a slightly larger weatherproof cat/dog house which I can use to store some food and water even in very cold weather, hoping he will discover this cozy shelter and be safe stays and warm in inclement weather. I will place the house side by side with my house under the eaves in a slightly raised flower bed very close to where I will feed it to protect it from freezing winds and rain. Or alternatively it could be one of the many stray cats in the area to escape the inclement weather. There are so many ways to use and customize this handy product. I plan to include one of these self-heating pet pads in these as well when the temps get cold. Hopefully this should give my little rabbit friend extra all round insulation, warmth and coziness and dry comfort in a large pet house. I imagine him hiding inside and staying dry and warm.
