I am completely satisfied with the purchase of this product. After doing a lot of research to find a 22 inch widescreen LCD monitor that fits my needs and price range, I'm happy to report that this monitor has exceeded my expectations. Installation was literally easy. Mounting the LCD monitor on the stand is a very simple process. . You have the ability to adjust the height, tilt up and down, and pan side to side. The stand is solid and well made. The package includes the necessary cables to use a VGA or DVI-I connection to your video. I am currently using an EVGA 7600 GS 512MB which has any connector and I have chosen DVI which gives the best performance as there are no D/A conversion requirements involved. After installing WIN XP Pro, only the standard monitor was recognized, therefore, after installing the DELL 2208WFP drivers, the driver disk provided by DELL was correctly recognized by the operating system. The monitor is equipped with 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 on the side and 2 on the back. Of course, you use one of your computers to connect monitors with USB capabilities, so your net gain is 3. I connected a webcam to one of the ports on the back and it worked fine. I am using the native resolution for this monitor 1680x1050. The video is immediately amazing, I found I personally didn't need to make any adjustments to the video. The picture is bright and saturated. The text is crisp and clear. I am totally satisfied with this product, if there are any flaws then they have nothing to do with the monitor itself as it handles video brilliantly, but the documentation provided is sparse which is pretty much the trend these days if you know more If you want product information or need help, you'll most likely need to go online, but anyone with a basic knowledge should have no problem with the initial setup. This is a great monitor and well worth the money. I highly recommend it to everyone. PLEASE NOTE: This monitor only has VGA and DVI inputs, it does not have HDMI, S-Video, Composite or Component. So if you intend to use it as a TV monitor, you're probably out of luck unless your audio/video receiver or cable box doesn't provide the required outputs, which is unlikely.
