I was visiting my cousin who lives where it snows. Not having any waterproof clothing for the snow I was looking for winter pants and thought these galoshes would be great for keeping my boots dry. I'm glad I bought them because it snowed the first night I was there. This gave me the opportunity to wear galoshes to walk through the show and not worry about getting cold. I'll keep them for future trips to Snowland.
