In May 2019 I installed these lights under a canopy to get some light at night. I love the way they look at night and it's nice to look at at night and be able to see things instead of just being pitch black. I also bought a timer to work with them. (This is a really neat option with a few tweaks). I set them to Dusk Till Dawn. So these lights come on every night from dusk to dawn and every time a big storm hits when it's dark enough to turn them on for two years and they still work! (That's about 6000 hours, or if you count it. That's not my forte!) They failed twice, apparently for no reason. When I couldn't get them to turn back on the first time, I ordered a new string of lights. When they arrived the original lights were re-lit that night. LOL And the second time they went off last night and I just pushed the button that changes their display and they came back on. So now I have an extra strand. But these lights are great! I hope they come for many more years! (But if not, I'm ready!)
