Not working as advertised

Win10 Pro Installed Device - Plug and play with USB 3.0 port. I am 10 feet from my WiFi router. - Tested speed did not exceed 40 Mbps. - Installed the updated driver directly from the TP-Link website, which immediately caused errors with the adapter. The device goes through an error cycle when connecting and disconnecting. - Uninstalled the TP-Link driver and reinstalled the standard Windows driver to restore the connection. - Constant shutdowns render the adapter unusable. If he manages to stay connected, the speed will not exceed 40 Mbit/s.
