This filter mask and mask combo is the best I have found so far! I can wear it all day! I like that the fan has three speeds and draws fresh air through a HEPA filter. This prevents the formation of condensation and the filtered air is excellent. Most of the time I run it on fan speed 1 (low) and sometimes turn it up to medium or high since I do a lot of physical work. I haven't really figured out how long the battery lasts on a single charge as I usually used little most of the time and it didn't run out in an 8 hour day. I wear it on my arm and it works quite well, although it tends to slip a bit. It appears to be the second generation as the HEPA filter and fan housing are made of white plastic and the Aurora image is printed on the front. The kn95 face mask is probably better than disposable surgical masks that don't appear to be made for medical use. The tightness is good since I wear glasses and they don't fog up. The biggest plus is the fresh air. Maybe at a higher speed it will hold the aerosol?! Also, given the design, it makes sense that it would work well with a face shield as fresh air is drawn in through the removed HEPA filter and fan. By design it should work with an N95 mask when it becomes available. It comes with a filter/fan unit, a short and a long silicone tube and 10 kn95 masks. One has a 1/2 hole, the other kn95 masks don't have a 1/2 inch hole to connect the filter/fan unit. It's also packed with multiple connectors. I reused the kn95 mask with UV light for three days. Also used UVC on silicone tubing. I received many comments and questions about the installation. Although the price seems high, it seems very good compared to the cost of other options. I'll try using the device at medium speed all day and see how long it lasts. This is the best option I've found so far! I would recommend it to anyone who needs to wear a mask all day.
