UPDATE: Below is my original review, unedited. After this review, there were some issues with both the chair and its manufacturer. CHAIR. I still like the chair, but after a while the sides of the seat can start to hurt my legs as it's not very wide. I'm a tall guy so I need width. Sometimes, however, this is a minor irritant. The big problem is the armrest. While I'd like one that moves back and forth and up and down, I'd prefer one that doesn't break at the slightest touch. I noticed that one arm wobbles when I press against it. I thought it was a bend in the metal (not good, but still). I found that the problem was with the armrest base plate that attaches to the chair. It came off completely due to a faulty weld. I tried a temporary fix with Gorilla Glue but it took less than 24 hours. I would contact the company for their "excellent customer service" but they don't seem to provide a way to get in touch. For a chair that costs close to $200, I expect it to last over a month. I hope I just received a piece with a bad weld and it's not a problem for others. I love this chair but for the money I paid I want a fully functional chair. I'm a tall guy, over 275 pounds, so it's hard to find a good chair. I prefer game style chairs which is why I looked for this in my research. This chair came highly recommended and met my needs: 300+ lb weight capacity, style of play, under $200. It took over 2 1/2 weeks to receive it so I was left with a backless chair while I waited. After I received the chair, it was easy to assemble. I had to deduct a star because the instructions, especially the pictures, were wrong and caused me to panic when looking for rubber grommets. They are presented as rectangular but round. Also, the rubber O-rings were already installed on the footrest. However, it was easy to put together and I like that it has everything you need. It was my first time sitting in a chair and I couldn't believe how comfortable it was. I even threw it all the way back for fear it might tip over, but that didn't happen. I don't use a wooden pad and probably never will. It needs to be connected via the included cable so not worth it. The wheels are very smooth-running compared to my other chair. I have a floor protector and the chair slides on it. The only thing missing is the ability to move the armrests forward/back and in/out, but that's minor.
